Checking a Preset Recording

You can check your preset recordings:

♦ When you have finished presetting the VTR

♦ If you have forgotten which programmes will be recorded

♦ Before the VTR enters the timer standby mode

Press MENU on the remote control.

Result

: The programming menu is displayed.

Press the OK button to select this option .

Result : The TIMER PROGRAMMING menu is displayed.

Press the $ or ❷!buttons to select the required programme.

Press the ➛!or ❿ button to select and change any values as

required. For more details, refer to the previous page.

On completion, press MENU.

Cancelling a Preset Recording

Press MENU on the remote control.

Result : The programming menu is displayed.

Press the OK button to select this option .

Result : The TIMER PROGRAMMING menu is displayed.

Select the programme to be cancelled by pressing the $ or ❷

button.

Press the CLR/RST button to cancel the selected programme.

Result : All the recording information is deleted and the

broadcast will not be recorded.

On completion, press MENU.

Before presetting a satellite channel recording,

check the satellite tuning and setting (see pages 21

and 22)

Insert the cassette and press the MENU button. And then press the

OK button to select TIMER PROGRAMMING for satellite

channel.

Press ❿ to select the satellite input source.

Select the satellite input by pressing the SAT.CONT. button or

I.SELECT button.

Result : If the satellite input has been set correctly, the PR

displayed “S---”.

Press the numeric button to be selected channel.

SAT 9:

SAT 27:

You need to press the “0” numeric button to select one or two

digit satellite channel.

Refer to using the TIMER programming feature how to select a

day, start & stop time, speed (see page 37).

When satellite input has been set, you can program a timer recording to a satellite channel by using the VIDEO PLUS+ and the

TIMER programming function.

Note:

♦ VPS/PDC programming is not possible in conjunction with satellite

programmed recording.

♦ In the case of some satellite receivers, the power remains off for

several seconds when timer recording commences.

♦ With some satellite receivers, the first several seconds will not be

recorded when the timer recording function is used.

♦ With some satellite receivers, the power goes off if the recording is

stopped while timer recording is still underway.
